| 1255385 | 2012-01-21 23:42:00 | I've copied the contents of my Disk Station (soon to be made redundant as I need the hard drive for something else) to my new server, and I notice there's a huge number of duplicate directories files etc. In other words a huge mess taking up space. At present I'm running this command (amended for my own circumstances); #cd /mymounts/d2p1/users/nshares/public/diskstation #nohup fdupes -1frq * > /mymounts/d2p1/users/nshares/public/diskstation.txt & Is this going to work? And is there a better way? Obviously if it works, thats fine. But its going to take time! |
