| 1254369 | 2012-01-15 23:30:00 | Hi guys (and gals!), need some help checking if this power supply here: Antec Neo Eco 620C, 620W ATX PSU, Active PFC, Silver, - bit.ly is compatible with this motherboard Asus M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3 www.asus.com Graphics card Radeon 5450 silent www.asus.com First time I have bought a power supply so no idea what to check. Therefore, ask the pros! What say you!? Thanks so much. |

The only issue you might have is using an old PSU on a newer board, it would likely be missing some of the newer connectors... CPU takes 8pins or sometimes 4, doesn't matter the PSU has a 8 pin for it, that can be split to 4./ They still have a certain number of molex as well as plenty of sata. They have a 24pin power connector, even if you had an old 20pin motherboard, it would still fit, and just the extra 4 would hang over... All you need to worry about is if it has enough wattage for the GPU as well as everything else, and if it is a quality brand. This is fine. |
