1254369 2012-01-15 23:30:00 Hi guys (and gals!), need some help checking if this power supply here:

Antec Neo Eco 620C, 620W ATX PSU, Active PFC, Silver, - bit.ly

is compatible with this motherboard

Asus M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3 www.asus.com

Graphics card

Radeon 5450 silent www.asus.com

First time I have bought a power supply so no idea what to check. Therefore, ask the pros!

What say you!?

Thanks so much.

1254370 2012-01-16 00:31:00 You don't need to check compatible - they all compatible. The only issue you might have is using an old PSU on a newer board, it would likely be missing some of the newer connectors...

CPU takes 8pins or sometimes 4, doesn't matter the PSU has a 8 pin for it, that can be split to 4./

They still have a certain number of molex as well as plenty of sata.

They have a 24pin power connector, even if you had an old 20pin motherboard, it would still fit, and just the extra 4 would hang over...

All you need to worry about is if it has enough wattage for the GPU as well as everything else, and if it is a quality brand.

This is fine.
