| 1254321 | 2012-01-15 08:56:00 | Hi I was looking at purchasing the Samsung SA750D 120HZ 3D monitor which uses a Display Port as its primary connector (it doesn't have a DVI port), however my GPU only has a Mini Display Port. My question is can I use a display port to mini display port adapter/cable and still run 3D at 120HZ? Ive done some research into this and from what I understand the two are the same apart from the connecters size and using an adapter should be OK but I wanted to check before I went and purchased my new monitor. |

| 1254324 | 2012-01-16 07:17:00 | I've got a 1gb hd5850 atm but will be upgrading soon, I will mostly be using it for 2d full HD 120HZ gaming (I've heard the smoothness is unmatched by 60HZ monitors) but I would like to try out games like MW3, l4d2, skyrim, battlefield etc in 3D, I know my GPU might struggle with some of them but as I said I will be upgrading soon :) | smithinator (15240) | ||
