1229624 2011-09-08 05:03:00 The new E-Type, I reckon that is absolutely stunning, best looking Jag in years, maybe decades.

No comment on the interior though. I guess you expect it to look like an old church, and when it looks like the Yahoo! HQ we get a fright...

1229625 2011-09-08 05:21:00 That is one hot looking Jag damn.....
I do like the interior also.

1229626 2011-09-08 05:25:00 Looks like a Nissan from the front (sad), and an Aston Martin from the side (not so sad).

The new XJ does it for me though. In black.

1229627 2011-09-08 05:30:00 Nope ... sorry, but an E-type should be a V12 ... nothing less ~! SP8's (9836)

I'm not seeing the nissan, personally, what model were you thinking? It certainly does have similar lines to an Aston. There was a designer, Ian someone I think, who worked for Aston and Jag back when the DB9 came out, maybe they are still in bed as it were. Not a bad thing by any means.

Can't remember the model, but I can picture it. Think it was from a few years ago and the new GTR is similar.

EDIT: 350Z

1229632 2011-09-08 05:49:00 The entire shape of the 350Z is much more bubble like and rounded, the Jag is sleeker much closer to the DB9. DeSade (984)
1229633 2011-09-08 06:20:00 I remember way back in the 1960s the Bank Manager of the BNZ at Westport had a Jag. Must have been the flashest car in Westport. Since then I have always thought of Jags as being a Bank Manager's car.

I very much doubt that my Bank Manager would loan me the money to buy a modern Jag. I will continue to slum it in my modest Toyota which is more suitable for us peasants.
