865 1998-11-24 15:47:00 I have a 486 with 2 hard drives which I have formatted. I am trying to install windows from the CD-ROM, but I can't access the drive (E:). I did the same thing earlier this year on my 200MMX (with just 1 HDD) without too much trouble. I have tried using the driver disk I was supplied with, but without success. I also copied the driver file (vide-cdd.sys) and MSCDEX.exe to the startup disk, and it displays, at startup, 'CD-ROM drive #0 found on 1Foh port slave device, v6.5E', but when I type e: and press enter, it says 'invalid drive specification' Guest (0)
