| 827 | 1998-11-21 00:22:00 | Dear Peter Every couple of months the 'mapi32.dll' file goes missing from our Office97 edition of Microsoft Outlook. Previously I have copied this file from our laptop's copy of Outlook and replaced it in Windows/System and I am once again able to use Outlook. However this time when I copied over the file to the PC I am informed that Outlook has performed an illegal operation. The details of this operation are as follows: OUTLOOK caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:00000009. Registers: EAX=0000008a CS=014f EIP=00000009 EFLGS=00010202 EBX=6f9a9871 SS=0157 ESP=0062f8e0 EBP=0062f920 ECX=30285e81 DS=0157 ESI=0062f928 FS=1307 EDX=0000006b ES=0157 EDI=00000002 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 00 a4 d4 65 04 70 00 65 04 70 00 54 ff 00 f0 4c Stack dump: 00000157 6c1736f0 0062f928 6f9eb078 0000008a 0062f928 00000002 00000000 6f9a9890 00000007 0000008a 0062f928 00000002 00408480 00000000 00000000 Please are you able to recommend a solution to this problem? Your help will be much appreciated. Regards Grant Stewart. |
