| 824 | 1998-11-20 10:43:00 | I am about to upgrade to WIN98 and I seem to remember reading in one of your articles that if one was running real mode drivers to disable them before doing the upgrade. Is this correct? I have to use real mode drivers for my HP Scanjet 5p due to a lack of IRQs. I am also using an external Zip drive and I believe there has been some problem with WIN98 finding the device. Any suggestions? My system is a PC Direct PII 266MHZ with 64M of SDRAM. Thank you for you time and a great Magazine(I sell them too!). Ron Keilty |
