I run a Toshiba 470CDT, Bios 6.50, Port Replicator III, PS2 Mouse, External 101 Keyboard & Win98. Whenever using the mouse intensively = most noticeably under games like Dune 2, Red Alert the computer will freeze and refuse to accept keyboard/mouse input while still playing on quite merrily. I have tried different mice/driver combinations as well as running it in Dos mode and under Windows. I have also tried disabling various Bios options - Sound Card, Com1, Internal Pointing Device, but nothing works. The crashing is irregular, but usually within 1/2 hour of starting play. |
