| 892 | 1998-11-30 06:24:00 | Hi there, Can anyone help me. I have a Toshiba laptop 300cdt and up until a couple of days ago the serial mouse and accupoint both worked beautifully, also have a p/s2 slot which is used for a full keyboard. I have tried changing the mouse in the control panel and depending on which I choose, I can loose both mice, or only accupoint will work when I go into Control Panel/System/Mouse/Properties it says: 'THIS DEVICE IS NOT PRESENT, NOT WORKING PROPERLY, OR DOES NOT HAVE ALL THE DRIVERS INSTALLED. SEE YOUR HARDWARE DOCUMENTATION (code 24)there seems to be no conflict codes in my hardware manual. The modem manual tells me to put the mouse on to com2 and the modem on com3 (I have set modem on com3 but don't seem able to set the mouse on com2. I feel this is where the conflict is. I have hardware in the Toshiba hardware set up to simultaneous. Thank you in anticipation HR |
