My computer has a c:\drive of 1275meg.Recently after some software conflicts in Win95 it has begun reporting as 856meg in both win explorer and when closed out to DOS prompt.
Some time ago I used Partition-it to reduce the cluster size but uninstalled it about 4 months ago. All worked fine until this software conflict. Could the uninstall have been incomplete and with the offending files removed the partition has somehow reappeared. If that is so how do I solve the problem? Am I correct in assuming that if I format c:\ it will onlt affect the part that is being reported. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
