running windows 95 and the usual method of clearing most recent documents START-SETTINGS TASKBAR etc no longer works.A search of the Recent folder denotes the files/documents that should delete plus two other files. These two do not have an intellible file name nor extension.To delete rename move etc. brings the message 'cannot find the specified file' The properties are created unknown,modified unknown, accessed unknown, they have no size.There are no checks in the attributes boxes and none will stick if applied.
How to get rid of these two files as they are the probable reason the deletion of the other files does not occur. |
