Further to my earlier messages on Fatal Exception may I suggest that you keep a running record of names & dates when applications, demos, updates etc are installed. Thanks to Juha's suggestion I excercised the grey matter & came up with 2 games, 1 demo & 1 graphics card driver upgrade that had been installed before the blue screen appeared on 27.11 during shutdown.Removed demo, 2days later blue screen reappeared, removed 1 game blue screen at shut down, removed game 2, no blue screen at shut down but it reappeared 2 days later. No running problems with graphics but uninstalled drivers, shut down computer, reinstalled & no problems to date. Can only assume a graphics driver upgrade got corrupted & until it was used the blue screen did not appear. Have one advantage, grandson gives the keyboard & graphics a good workover playing games. If the game does'nt respond as expected he depresses another key in the fraction of a second. We both learn from the unexpected results. Regards Frank. |
