I have used the system policy editor to keep a few people who use my computer from destroying things but I can't find a way to stop them from restarting the computer in MS-DOS mode (from the shutdown menu) but still allow programs on the start menu (which only I can add/modify) to restart in DOS mode and then return to windows when they are finished. A couple of games need to run in DOS mode. Also I would like to know how to stop the Startup menu from coming up when you press the reset button half-way through Windows starting, and a way to bring it up anyway if I need to. |
