| 1063 | 1999-01-05 09:42:00 | I have a Pentium 166 computer running Windows 95. I have an external Iomega Zip Drive. My computers main hard drive is partitioned into two parts, C and D. My CD ROM drive is normally E. The Iomega Zip drive was assigned the letter F when first installed and should be F. However, when I start or restart my computer with the Zip Drive connected, it is assigned the letter E, with the CD-ROM assigned F. This can make it impossible to run some CD programs while the Iomega is attached. Is there a way to ensure that the CD ROM is always assigned to E and the Iomega to F on restarting whether or not the Zip Drive is connected? Rudy Hlawatsch |
