| 1055 | 1999-01-07 16:47:00 | I have a few questions I would like to ask about the 486DX CPUs and mainboards. I have 3 Opti Deep Green 895 v1.2 mainboards and not one manual and of course nothing is marked out on the board. Could you tell me where I may be able to find the jumper settings? I know two of the boards are set for 486DX4/100s but that is all I know and I need to install cache. Any ideas? Also if the CPU is set for a 486DX4/100 in these boards and I put in a 486DX2/80 will it just overclock it to a DX2/100 like other boards or does the Opti 895 know the difference? Also a little note about last issue - WinAmp 2.05 has been out for a while now and if you look on the top 10 share ware programs of the decade in last issue it was said that 2.04 was. Just a note. Thanks |
