| 1099 | 1999-01-20 23:39:00 | I am about to purchase a new computer and have been told that the machine will operate approx. 35% faster if I use NT4.0 as opposed to Windows 95, and less crashes. However all my software such as Microsoft Office 95, Publisher, Adobe PhotoDeluxe, my Microtek scanner, were purchased/or specifty for a Win 95 operating system. I have been told they will still operate no problem, except the plug & play option. Can you offer some advice as to which operating system I should get, and what potential problems I might have if I change to NT4.0. Many Thanks, Wendy |
