| 1243 | 1999-02-17 11:50:00 | I have trouble running an MS-DOS game. When I try to run it from the MS-DOS prompt in Windows, the program says I need more 'core memory'(although I have enough expanded memory), 537 600 bytes to be exact. This is strange because when I type in 'mem' to see how much memory I have, it says the largest executable program size is 585K. So I figured I would try to run it in MS-DOS. When I try to run it in MS-DOS it now says that although I have enough core memory to run the game, I don't have enough expanded memory! I made a boot disk for the game but this message still turns up! I have fiddled around with the memory tab in the programs properties to try and get it to run, but to no avail. Any ideas??. BTW, once I did get it to run, but there was no sound in it, no dialogue or music. Any ideas as to why that might be? Thanks in advance, Diana |
