| 1287 | 1999-02-25 22:52:00 | In Word 97 is there a way to have the Style drop-down box on the toolbar list only the styles that I have created, ie User-defined styles? When I am working on a document in which I have created all my own styles, I want to get rid of all the superfluous Word styles listed in the drop down box as they precede all my styles and it is a pain searching for the one that I want to use (usually at the end of the list, several clicks away). I can use shortcut keys for the ones I use the most but as I have a lot I can't remember all the shortcut combinations. There is no problem if I go to Format-Style - I can choose to see only User-defined styles there but would like to have the toolbar option do the same in order to work more quickly. The toolbar menu doesn't seem to be synchronised with the menu option, unless I have missed something somewhere! I'd really appreciate a comment on this matter. Thanks! |
