| 1284 | 1999-02-25 04:15:00 | I am attempting to get my system to run as fast as possible in order to run my 3D games at the highest frame rates that I can achieve. In my Award BIOS in the Motherboard chipset configuration menu there is a feature called PCI 2.1 Compliance which at the moment is disabled. What I wish to know is if I enable this feature will it speed up my system. After this weekend I will be running a Creative Banshee videocard, an Aztech PCI 128 3D soundcard, a 3com 10/100 network card and a V90 Modem card on the PCI bus with one oddball card left on the ISA bus. Thank you in advance for any input you can give me on this question. By the way the motherboard chipset is an INTEL 430TX if that is important. |
