I am wanting and trying to formate my hard drive because I have lost some files which I need for my computer. When I put a start up disk in I get to MS-Dos mode I try to access my cd-rom drive put I couldn't seem to get in. What can I do to access my cd-rom drive in MS-Dos mode and formate into windows 98? My friend saids I need some kind of disk or software to access the cd-rom drive. Is that true? Could you please tell me what I have to do to formate my hard drive step to step?
