I installed the latest version of ICQ.It asked me to reboot the system and when it finished all that was on the screen was wallpaper.No icons or start menu or taskbar.The only thing I can get is by clicking in the bottom left hand corner and getting a window called'Tasks'.By going through this and choosing 'run application' I can use the computer normally.If I go to the desktop area and click on the shortcuts,it goes back to the run application box,press ok and it works.All except for the windows explorer shortcut.It does nothing.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you
