Safe mode - same thing. Have booted it with XP disc and gone to recovery mode. Run chkdsk /p /r and also FIXBOOT - just in case. Reboot. Same thing. Ran it on XP disc past recovery console to do a repair install. No "R" option available. Considering doing a dirty install (dependent on phone convo with client). If I need to do this; this is basically a new install but you don't pre-format; and you don't use the same user name... correct? |
