| 1255780 | 2012-01-24 21:43:00 | Got a Viewsonic VA2248 and no matter what I do the screen will not go full, has these annoying black areas around it. It is hooked up to a laptop as a secondary display. Laptop is a business machine running a Intel graphics chip. Any help appreciated. |

| 1255782 | 2012-01-24 22:18:00 | Does this happen on all screens? Also intel graphics chips have pathetic output resolutions which could cause this if the screen refuses to display x resolution over the full screen. Also have you checked then aspect ratio and updated your drivers? | icow (15313) | ||
| 1255783 | 2012-01-24 22:21:00 | Only tested it on the viewsonic, no other one available. The res is set to 1920 x 1080 seems to be the highest it will go. Interestingly if I go to a lower res the screen does stretch to full size but not at this (recommended) res Drivers are up-to-date. |
