Its for a USB tuner. I think a wire broke in it, so I cant get a signal. The 1st pic, is the plug that plugs into the tuner. Then 2nd goes to an aerial. Ta. Otherwise, I'll have to buy another tuner (probably a PCI tuner) |

It's just a physical connection, so you could cut the plug off and jam the bare wires in the hole, securing them with chewing gum or such ... |

I think I saw everything you need at Bunnings in the TV/AV section, although using a cable and an adapter. Not so sure about the gold end (pic 1), as detail and scale is a bit vague, but it looks like the male connection on an aerial, while the other end is the traditional TV co-ax. You've just got the opposite genders on each end from what most aerial to TV cables would have. |

pic one is a bit smaller than a normal aerial. I'll probably replace it. The hole the adapter goes into (on the tuner broke) So it may niot make contact now. Think I may get something like this. (www.avermedia.com) it looks like it uses a normal aerial connection. Or something like this, a dual tuner (www.pbtech.co.nz) |
