Small child who is naturally messy and currently we have boxes for miles as we are going through old stuff of ours and seeing if its still relevant to keep it or not. So yes, the place is messy. Now the place is still clean, just cluttered etc. Does a landlord have the right to tell us how to live. As long as the place is clean and undamaged surely anything else is personal choice? I am curious as we have an inspection soon and I do NOT want to mess up the system we have going with the boxes by tidying them up. |

If the landlord was putting his property up for sale it would be reasonable for him/her to request that the place be tidy for inspection by possible purchasers in that case they would be required to give you notice beforehand. One of the more legally inclined members may give us a better answer than mine :) |
