| 1230951 | 2011-09-14 06:34:00 | Edited to above -- sorry for the typo's was in a hurry to beat the clock. With the PC spec's above, it really flies, and is really "snappy". Heres Internet Explorer (www.imagef1.net.nz) From the start screen,Notice position of Address Bar - (down the bottom) IE from desktop, starts as per normal. If this is whats coming -- OMG there are going to lots of people complaining about things changing, its defiantly going towards touch screens :D Takes a bit of figuring out how things work. |

| 1230953 | 2011-09-14 06:58:00 | Any idea on how to get this onto a memory stick (bootable)? Do you mean to run from a memory Stck instead of a PC /Laptop or to install from a memory stick ?? If you mean to install - have not tried it, but download.cnet.com may work - does for W7 |

| 1230958 | 2011-09-14 08:36:00 | I'm having lots of luck. dl.dropbox.com That kind of ugly-ass error message will make me want to punch my monitor if I ever see it on my machine. main screen previous Desktop (www.imagef1.net.nz) More epic retardation, why they are obsessed with taking up half of every window with a huge-ass toolbar\ribbon thing showing just about every single available command at once, including those which can easily be performed with keyboard hotkeys, thus making the toolbar redundant, and hiding the other half of the buttons in the title bar is beyond me. It's even stupider than Ubuntu's Unity interface. As for IE.. wtf?? If I wanted a browser that looked that shitty I'd use the PS3 one. Even Chrome makes more sense than that. Why they think I would want my desktop to look like a touchscreen Internet kiosk interface I have no idea either. I prefer to have a wallpaper I can actually see, without huge rectangles in the way, for a start. Secondly, my computer is NOT an Internet kiosk at a shopping mall! I refuse to use such an interface on the grounds I'll probably end up with Alzheimer's disease from lack of brain exercise\activity while using the damn thing. |
