A Radar Detector wouldn't have saved anyone this morning on the Lyttelton Tunnel Motorway..........unmarked car cruising up and down the motorway at clearly sign posted speeds waiting for everyone to first tail gate and if they didn't notice the rear dash lights, they certainly noticed when they screamed past him, often doing so on double yellow lines as well.
I have to go through to lyttelton weekly for physio, there is always some clowns speeding and passing along there, good on them for patrolling it, it was getting dangerous. The roads are bad enough without having to watch for morons, I still hate going through the tunnel though, it is un-nerving driving through it knowing there could be another big shake at any time. |
