1256381 2012-01-28 04:25:00 Just recenly I had to downoad iTunes and a new AntiVirus program.
The extension on the save files was .t64, not .exe.
Have had this a few times now and it is getting annoying.
I can manauly change the .t64 to .exe to get the file to work.

What I would like to know is why I am getting the .t64 extension in the first place?

The .t64 is for Commodore tape files.

1256382 2012-01-28 04:36:00 What AV program did you install? And what browser did you use? And what version of windows is it? Speedy Gonzales (78)

What was the new antivirus called and where did you get it from?

1256384 2012-01-28 07:14:00 It has been many different files that I have downloaded that have had a .t64 extension.
Also it doesn't matter which browser I have used.

Has been happening off and on for quite awhile.

I run Win XP. The browsers I use are IE and Chrome.
