| 1255737 | 2012-01-24 08:29:00 | I have for many years used this Update Checker to scan my PC to advise on available updated versions. Recently File Hippo advertised a new version of Update Checker.exe. I downloaded the new version. Since then I have had lots of trouble checking for updates. Opening Update checker file halts part way several times, . I rerun it a few times and then for some reason it operates correctly. The error message I get is UpdateChecker --------------------------- Launch Error: 1156 - An error occurred in sending the command to the application --------------------------- OK I use Windows 7 32 Bit. I have uninstalled and re installed the new version afew times in case the downbload had been corrupted but still get this error,. Any suggestions please Neil |
