1230895 2011-09-14 04:32:00 A man and woman were having a quiet, romantic dinner in a fine restaurant . They were gazing lovingly at each other and holding hands .

Their waitress, taking another order at a table a few steps away, suddenly noticed the man slowly sliding down his chair and under the table, but the woman acted unconcerned .

The waitress watched as the man slid all the way down his chair and out of sight under the table . Still, the woman appeared calm and unruffled, apparently unaware her dining companion had disappeared .

The waitress went over to the table and said to the woman, "Pardon me, ma'am, but I think your husband just slid under the table . "

The woman calmly looked up at her and said, "No, he didn't . He just walked in the door . "

Anyway, here's the whole message AND the edit all over again! Silly time limit.

IN THE PREVIOUS POST, I SAID:::Nah - just trying some of the things that didn't work before - especially in the SUBJECT line here.

Getting up early here, contemplating this next move. We have until the end of October (self-imposed date) to change address and move to another state. Looking hard at Idaho right about now.

California has finally killed my passion for it.

I awaken at 04:30 most mornings and just sit bolt-upright in bed and have visions of moving and packing in my head. I love to move as it gives one a really thorough way to clean house and toss out the detritus of time spent in one place.

We've been here for about three years now and I say it's about time to move anyway. Gotta figure out what to do with my Koi ponds and my plecostomus. Youse guys want them?

Seems kinda strange that I can get almost all my earthly possessions in an 8' x 8' x 16' moving container - but I can with very few exceptions. I worked out a floor map of the container and gave each appliance a little fudge room by adding an inch or two to their true dimensions and I find that I still have lots of room for the boxes of chattel and fluffery.

The guitars and amplifiers won't take much room, but this bed of mine is a monster! We also have a huge refrigerator to move and I'm not as young as when I was born, ya'll know?

As I take this next 'vacation' trip for a couple of weeks looking for a new abode, I'll try to post some of the findings I spot along the way from my camera and my Eee-PC to youse guys from WIFI hotspots and motels.

Youse guys are moving into the warmer season and we's* moving the opposite direction right now. (* that should be "us'ns" - sorry --- where was my proper Engliƒh ?).

One of the states I like is Montana - but the snow gets pretty deep there and even though I have a full-sized K5 Blazer 4wd - it'll still be a harsh Winter coming up.

We'll see how it looks in the Fall.

1230902 2011-09-14 21:20:00 What did you do then, that you have to move out of state?

I didn't think those jokes were all that bad!

Fall/Winter seems a bit of a daft time to move :)

Montana (en.wikipedia.org)over here is/was a range of of Wines, but success at exporting to the States has actually made them re-brand (www.nzherald.co.nz)!

Here's a tune (www.youtube.com) to send you on your house hunting trip
