| 1365 | 1999-03-08 07:05:00 | I resently upgradted to a new PC and when purchasing i told the dealer to add more RAM and remove the 56k internal modem as i had an external one. when i got it home and switched it on i found that the new hardware detection wizard kept finding the old internal modems' serial wave device the first time it happened i simply removed the old hardware ( something the dealer forgot to do ) and everything was fine until recently i purchased a dynalink TV card and installed it now when i turn on it always detects my onld modems wave device i cant be my external modem that it is detecting could it as it works perfectly ? thanks |
