1425	1999-03-15 09:36:00	Compaq Presario 4540 advertised as upgradable to 64Mb can only be go to 48Mb. OK? Compaq Presario 4540 advertised as upgradable to 300MHz AMD-K6 Compaq forum says it can only be upgraded to 233MHz, Compaq (NZ) says 300 MHz but when asked, never supplied me with jumper settings. OK? Compaq Presario 4540 advertised as 2000 compliant, Nuts & Bolts says my computer needs a BIOS upgrade. I have contacted Compaq they did upgrade my computer to 48MHz but that is all.
