1421	1999-03-15 07:45:00	My Mother-in-Law has a small but annoying problem with her computer. We cannot get scan-disc to run. When we start it it seems to start and stop until it returns the message telling us that there is another programme running and writing to disc. I have turned off the screensaver and exited/disabled all the running programs in the system tray without success. There isn't anything else obvious that is running. Am I missing something? Her system is a PC Direct Pentium 2- 233, 4GB H/D, 64MB RAM, running Windows 95, with a scanner connected. Can anyone help out? Thanks Darryl Lennane(baffled son-in-law)	Guest (0)
