| 1465 | 1999-03-18 14:02:00 | We have a cyrix 6x86 pr200 cpu and a s3 virage based video card. Would the addition of a 3Dfx card be worthwhile for gaming as I have heard the poor fpu performance of the cyrix cpu's greatly reduces the benefit of a 3D card? We will be replacing the system around christmas so just wish to get acceptable frame rates in MSFS and need for speed. Thanks. |
