Having just purchased a HP DEskjet 720c printer and a Canoscan FB620P Scanner while pleased with each individual performance I am getting 'Lost Communication errors' when printing. The scanner is connected between the Pentium 166 and the printer as advised and because I have only 1 parallel port. Canon say this should not cause the problem while HP say it is a known problem even in their latest models and I should disconnect the scanner or put another parallel port in! Any other solution? |
