1535 1999-04-05 03:32:00 I've got a Brother HL 1040 laser printer that stalls and prints a message saying that I have not selected the right printer (as well, I get a screen message telling me that I should increase the time-out settings for the printer). This problem occurs when I attempt to print a long (20+ page, or 20+ record mail-merge)document. Brother have replaced the printer - to no avail, and I have tried the obvious (like increasing time-out settings).
Could it be that my computer has the LPT port configured incorrectly? I have an Epson Stylus 800 that sometimes prints some text (appears to be default settings) before it begins the print job. Both these printers are running off the Green PC 200MMX computer.
Help!?
