| 1534 | 1999-04-04 23:30:00 | greetings I have an ancient Compaq Prolinea 4 with Pentium Overdrive in it. I am using NEC CD-ROM drive 273 which works perfectly in Windows 95, but when I restart in MS DOS mode, I get an error message claiming 'driver was not found'. I have added the following line to my autoexec.bat and to my dosstart.bat (in c:\windows): C:\sbcd\drv\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD001 /M:8 /V and the following line to my config.sys: DEVICE=C:\SBCD\DRV\SBIDE.SYS /V /D:MSCD001 what is wrong here? |
