| 1528 | 1999-03-31 20:31:00 | My internet connection terminates regularly. Sometimes it terminates after one minute, sometimes it takes longer. Sometimes it stays connected. The messages on termination read as below: * unable to connect to server: TCP error * a network error occured while receiving data(network error: connection reset by peer.) I have checked TCP/IP settings in dial up networking properties and changed from 'specify an IP address' to 'server assigned IP address' and from 'specify name server addresses' to 'server assigned name server addresses'. After doing this I have had no change. The connection still terminates occasionally. Can anyone offer assistance. Thanx |
