I am trying to install Lotus 123 (96)but installation stops because one of the files being installed is being used by Windows 95. This is the system file ctl3dv2.dll. (Hidden file). The 123installation process does not allow skipping past installing the file. I am considering booting up in DOS, changing the hidden attribute and deleting as the file appears to be 3d - presumabley for games. The file will be updated on the installation of 123. Am I on the right track or is this a critical file for Windows operation. Is there an easier wayaround the problem? Thanks. |
