Thanks to Peter Vr for advice on fitting xtra H/D/. Have another problem. I installed the 170Mb H/D and removed the other drive,set the jumpers accordingly, FDisked,formatted and installed Dos 6.22 and then proceeded to install Win95. Went o.k until it said preparing to start Win95 for the first time and nothing happened. Rebooted and was informed Win95 not shut down correctly so select safe mode. Did so and nothing happened.No matter how I install Win95 the same thing happens.Have run Virus check and every thing is clean, tried installing it on another 80meg H/D with same results.Previously it had installed on the original H/D o.k.Is it a fault developed on the Win95 cd or is it a fault on the H/D`s or the computer itself? Other programes load and run o.k. Any advice as to how to locate the fault would be appreciated.Thanks. |
