| 1697 | 1999-04-25 07:23:00 | Too often the screen freezes during shutdown, with no recourse but reset or switch off, leading to need for auotmatic scandisk on rebooting. ctrl+alt+del before shutdown does not indicate any unusual applications runnimg but even closing essentially everything manually thus way does not help. My system is a P200MMx, 32MB RAM, 4.5GB HD and Norton Antivirus 5 is run regularly so unlikely to be virus. |
