| 1832 | 1999-05-12 03:03:00 | I,m trying to load linux on an old DEC486 along with a 300MB windows 3.11 partition. I have a Seagate 1.7GB disk and am using Seagates version of Ontracks drive overlay (ver 9.46) to overcome the original Pheonix Bios (ver 1.01.02) When booting from the MBR it gets as far as 'LIL' and freezes. What can I do to overcome this and be able to boot into windows or Linux Thanks Alastair Mansell |
