| 1847 | 1999-05-13 05:57:00 | I am building a new home and want to network 3 or 4 computers in various rooms of the house, to allow file & printer sharing plus, let the kids play games against each other. Should I use twisted pair cables going to RJ-45 wall sockets or coax going to BNC wall sockets. With such a network, do you need terminators at the end of the lines, and what about outlets without a PC plugged in. I currently have three PC's networked in the same room with BNC plugs and cables. |
