2012-02-04 03:51:00 | I have been receiving e-mail messages from a friend overseas (Holland) much later than when he sent them. So, for example, he sent a message on Tuesday and I didn't receive it until Saturday. This has happened many times in the past week. It seems that I do not have any problems with other mail currently, although I couldn't connect with my server on Thursdaynight. My internet connection is up and running yet these messages arrive late. His server is Ziggo. | Lidy (16699) | |
2012-02-04 03:58:00 | This may sound silly, but how do you know that you are receiving the emails late? Have you been talking to him via telephone and/or Skype and he has said that he sent you something? It could be that the date/time set-up on his PC (or yours) is incorrect :( Mind you, I had a glitch with a couple of emails to a friend in California earlier this week, so maybe the goblins are indeed running riot out there in cyberspace :)

2012-02-04 04:54:00 | My inbox shows the time of arrival yet my friend's message of course shows the date of sending. Just now I received several messages that had been sent between Thursday and last night (Holland time) which is Friday and early this morning NZ time. | Lidy (16699) | |

2012-02-05 00:36:00 | Or they are late. Maybe their mail server had an issue and is now catching up...it happens.

2012-02-05 22:02:00 | Xtra has found out that something has been going wrong on the other end. My friend's messages arrive at his server (Ziggo) yet then there's a delay before it gets to yahoo/xtra. I thought the problem had been solved after I informed my friend but this morning there was another message 3 days overdue. Hope Ziggo is going to get their act together. Thanks for your responses. Great!
