| 1257237 | 2012-02-03 21:59:00 | Hi, i have an acer aspire 5580 laptop with the integrated SD card reader. Recently the hard drive self destructed and i had a new one installed, but now the card reader appears not to work. Usually you jam a card in and it opens the window for whatever is on the card to be imported, now i cant even see the card when browsing on "my computer" where it lists all the drives. I assume its a driver issue due to the new hard drive being installed, what driver do i need and where can i get it. Thanks |

| 1257238 | 2012-02-03 22:09:00 | Yes after your new hard drive and reinstall of Windows it is very likely you no longer have the drivers for your card reader. Go here: www.acer.co.nz follow the wizard and get your drivers. |
