1256902 2012-02-01 16:52:00 I have a problem which is affecting both my desk PC and laptop. I am running Windows XP on the desktop and the laptop has Vista. My problem is that I cannot access one particular website. It is a site that in the past that I have gone to frequently with no problem. This has been occurring for more than one month now. Whenever I attempt to go the site www.farmallcub.com I get the following response:
Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to www.farmallcub.com

Try reloading: www.¬farmallcub.¬com
Additional suggestions:
• Access a cached copy of www.¬farmallcub.¬com

Search on Google:

About the time I started having this problem, I had to take my laptop to a computer technician for a hard drive problem. I told him about the above issue as well. He was able to access the Farmallcub site with my laptop at the shop, so he said that the problem must be with my internet provider (Charter Cable). I called Charter and they assured me that they have no filter which would limit my access. The Charter tech did, however give me a site to go through which would allow me to bypass any filter. If I first go to www.goldtunnel.com, I can in fact go to Farmallcub. Can my wireless router be causing my trouble?
I am able to access the above site if I take my laptop to a location with wifi.
Thanks for any suggestions.

1256903 2012-02-01 19:49:00 All the sites open fine. Have you checked in the router to make sure theres no setting blocking it ?

Also have you tried accessing the site through someone else's connection that is also with Charter Cable ? < This is to test if its Charter Cable that are in fact blocking.

1256904 2012-02-07 03:42:00 I took the router out of the loop and continued to be unable to access my desired web site. thiggy (11892)
1256905 2012-02-07 03:50:00 So its not the router then. Did you try the other suggestion I made to make sure its not your cable company actually blocking the site ? wainuitech (129)
1256906 2012-02-07 04:24:00 May not be intentionally blocking it, could be blacklisted IP addresses. pctek (84)
1256907 2012-02-07 04:35:00 If you can email the sites admin and ask them to check the server for blocking your ip. It happens sometimes. I've had someone not be able to get on a site because their ip was blacklisted from visiting a different site on the same server hueybot3000 (3646)
