1256508 2012-01-29 20:44:00 So, how are you going to copy it from the cd to a uisb flash drive? And does the computer support booting from a USB flash drive? And does the computer support 64 bit?

It maybe similar to this (this is for XP)

1256512 2012-01-30 00:33:00 What part didnt work? Make sure the flash drive is formatted in FAT32, not NTFS. You'll get an error Speedy Gonzales (78)

1256514 2012-01-30 09:57:00 Do you have another PC with a optical drive, and you can connect both machines to the same network? (I assume the 80GB is a laptop or netbook?)
If so, you may be able to set up sharing so that the optical drive contents on the desktop, are shared with the other PC. You can probably install it that way. On the laptop, browse and locate the optical drive on the other machine, and then install as per normal.

Will depend on what is installed on the laptop already though and whether you can get the sharing set up properly...
