2011-09-18 00:35:00 | And now there is the possibility of all three tri-nation countries being on the same side of the draw :( What's the bet that the All Blacks don't make it to the finals?

2011-09-18 00:44:00 | Australia may have lost a pool game, but unless USA or Russia beat them they will still make it through to the quarter finals (top two in each pool go through, as I understand it). It will have given them a big scare though I imagine! Which will make them hungry and dangerous.... Check this site out: http://rugby.europcar.ie/

2011-09-18 00:47:00 | Meh, I think it shows they are easily broken. I see them being easily rattled rather then dangerous, they will collapse. Thoroughly enjoyed last nights game, This world cup is far better then I expected, and I expected greatness. May the best team win.

2011-09-18 01:11:00 | No doubt Australia is in mourning this morning over their defeat last night at the hands of the Irish. If you're feeling brave, you could try the following phrases on some jaded Aussie supporters if you come across them today: "Harden up", "It's only a game", "Get a life", or "After that crap performance I don't give you much of a chance against the All Blacks" (all this to be said at a safe distance of course). | tuiruru (12277) | |

Ashburtononline being one of the few to do so in a timely manner. Ireland should be assured of leading their pool, but for the Aussies to fail to be runner-ups would require an even bigger upset. There's 4 points for a win, and 1 point for the losing team if their loss is by 7 points or fewer. Ireland still have to play Russia and Italy. There should be 8 points there for Ireland. Australia still have to play USA and Russia. There should be 8 easy points there for the Aussies. The only other team with enough points to be a remote threat to the Aussies making the quarters would be the USA, but their only hope would be if the Aussies lost again to USA or Russia, and you won't get much odds of that happening. |
