I image my OS back like I have done several times but this time I got "BootMCR is missing" How can I fix this. |

I found out that if I boot with a Windows 7 repair disk the problem got fix. |

u mean BOOTMGR u can use startup problems to fix it and easy bcd to remove the recovered part and in advanced settings to boot automatically start so no need to hit enter when it starts up |

What imaging program as In7 is different to XP and not all imaging programs pick up Win7's boot partition. One that does is Active@ |
