Yep, brother knocked one off, so did a mate.

Phone won't boot. Battery or motherboard is dead :(

Long shot -- Tried removing the drive from the enclosure and connecting to a sata port, just on the off chance its not getting power through the external correctly ?

1232090 2011-09-18 22:31:00 Did someone knock this one also and not tell you? Sounds like you need it tied down, or use an internal one.

There's a slow but steadily growing thread on the Seagate forums about that model failing after a few months of use.

Thought about it but I'm sending it back. Only about $40 and they should hopefully replace it. Trying to remember where I brought it from and claiming CGA. More convienient and cheaper than $40-$50 tracked shipping to singapore...
